Our Love

Our love.
I felt her walk up behind me. I opened an eye.
"Yes?" I asked.
"We have entered hyperspeed and are on our way to Felucia." She replied.
"Very good. Now if you'll exucse me I must return to my meditation."
"Yes sir." I felt her bow then turn to walk away, but she did not
leave. For I did not hear her boot prints piddling away.
"Is there something else I can help you with?" I asked a little annoyed.
"Why are you doing this?" I now stood to face her.
"What do you mean?"
"Why are you looking for people to help you over throw the empire. You
know it will never work. You saw first hand how powerful the empire
is. You know you can't defeat them." She stated. I looked at her.
"I must try." l looked down. I knew the real reason why I was looking.
I was looking for Vader. I was his slave and I dare not disobey him or
he might hurt Juno. I could not live with myself if he hurt her. She
walked closer to me.
"There's no stopping them Galen can't you see that. Galen I-I..." She
stopped taking and looked away. I could see tears beging to roll down
her cheeks. Quickly I walked over to her and put a hand on her back.
"Juno I am sorry but they must be punished. If not the galaxy will
never be safe. And niether will you." I said. She gazed up at me
suprised at what I said.
"Do you mean that Galen." I saw the hope in her eyes. I wondered how
long she had loved me. Then I did something that suprised even me. I
put a hand on her face and slowly I approched her and kissed her. I
could feel that she had wanted this for a long time. She had wanted
just to know that I at least liked her back and now she knew. I pulled
away and looked at her. She opened her mouth and was about to speak
when the ship started beeping telling us that we were coming out of
hyperspeed. I was not there to see her face when she turned to look
back at me. For I was alreay near the exit of the ship and was ready
to exit onto the planet of Felucia. I breathed in deep and waited for
the doors to open.
